| First of all thanks for the supporting readers and ur comments, after a bloody busy traffic increasing in my blog regarding SCT-So-Called Professional, i’m been asked to remove it by Mr.Xxx and meet him personally to solve out my problems. It is just a conflict and all the problems just solve less than 10 min in his room, in stead of waiting shit committee decision for couple of days. i’m really appreciate the help from this Mr.Xxx. in order to reply his help, I’m asked to write a new line about my internship programme experience with SCT. Please don’t angry with my experience and my opinion. Anyway still have nice n professional person in SCT but rare. OMG…..
I’m one of the SCt’s student that going to end my so called internship program or university industry training. Junior out there actually internship program is not that fun as what we imagined from the 1st & 2nd year. I started my internship program since 3 months ago, it make my world wider and gain lot of bad experience as well as knowledge.
Be frank, SCT should really do something for the management system in order to gain advance level in the education sector, because it is really bad experience i got so far with SCT in my internship. we been taught global IT management, Business Management, System management and many others. All this please don’t just teach us student but please do apply in the School too. internship program in SCt doesn’t managing well and everything need to wait 7 working days even the urgent letter to show employer, this kind of work done just will cause the bad impression towards students and University. Sorry to say so, we all are newbie into the real world and we really need a lot of guide in stead of blaming us when problems occurs. Internship program are very good for us student but sometime need to consider the overall problems that occur in our student side such as knowledge, transportation, financial and others.
Before we get a company for intern, i had a bloody scold from Ms.Xxx said that our resume too lousy and non of the company want to hire us, actually this is not fully our student fault and university should responsible for it too. I admit we students are lazy sometime beside, all the knowledge we gained from so-called-professional are limited so what can we write in our resume. Maybe from lectures opinion we are too childish, laziness, stupid, complaining and not understanding but take a breath and consider further.
Therefore, i really not understand Why we should pay the nearly RM5K amount to go for our internship. University didn’t teach us anything during this period of time and we not even touch the computer in the lab. We assigned to bloody far company at Cyberjaya, which cost RM20 for traveling to work and without pay, its just increase our parents burden to provide us more allowance during internship.
From my opinion internship program shouldn’t apply on the term 7, it really hard time for Us to go back university submitting our final year project proposal and meeting the supervisor. either postpone the due date of proposal submitting or make it more early before we start our internship. When working really got no time as like study because we need to wake up early in the morning and reaching home late at night the life keep repeating everyday and very boring., i think most of the lectures currently enjoying this kind of boring life.
Communication are really important during internship period, lack of communication will cause many conflict such as what i experienced. University really should make everything clear and communicate more to the company and students otherwise why needed collaboration and partnership professional. Don’t always collaboration with those big company and ignoring those small tiny company. I really not been inform that we need to work for 4 months, others of my frens got shocked when they heard of it. I’m not blaming all towards Ms.Xxx and University because I’m responsible too when problems occur beside i know my role as a student but really unhappy with the blaming from others.
Anyway all are just conflict due to the lack of communication, i think we should learn more communication skills, i’m sorry for any misunderstanding toward the management but i really hope all the management system will change when SCT move to Monash block, on the other hand, please consider the fees during internship program semester, it really cost a lot when we need to bear the transportation, lunch and others fees. Thanks god i found a nice company name www.1.com.my (part 2) that provided allowance… perhaps next post part 2, my experience at 1.com.my
i totally agree with u… i feel so unfortunate to be sct student.. other courses internship is way more organized and better.. even at same sunway college, students do not need to pay full fees while doing internship, coz actully it doesnt make any sense.. but as always in sct students are the last priority. and money is the 1st.. and of course we have absolutely no right to argue whatsoever…. its like pay then come discuses… pity those new comers who think they’r ahead a great future in sct…
i just dont understand why we should pay RM 5K. I feel the same like u said. During 3 month we not having class or even use the lab computer. the most things is we pay more than usually (RM4690). Its 5K!!! where our money use to? and why we should pay so much?? can someone explain?
During internship programme before Final Year Project is really unefficient. We should go back Uni often to see Supervisor. otherwise u cant submit ur proposal. Even send through email, the Supervisor will take 1 day full to reply back. its just wasting time to keep waiting day by day until my due date proposal keep delaying week by week! I just not feel nice to my Intern Supervisor to keep asking permission to College submit proposal 2 times. Zzzzzzzzz
5K? My uni did charged for internship too.. but i dun remember how much it was.. u guys are not alone..

Hey, you confirmed this one approve and wouldn’t ask to remove? HaHaHa.. Don’t forget you have the experience before.. HaHaHa.. But try to think, if it is really good, we wouldn’t spend our time to speak out this kind of comment here. Ok, back to the topic. Actually is really true on the fees, we need to pay the same amount for the internship, like what this fella said, the student will work outside and some company wouldn’t pay the student and we have to spend more daily. For the student working outside, the uni didn’t teach us like we are in class and didn’t use the uni facilities at all. Like what he said, we didn’t touch the computer lab but we have to pay for the lab fees, we didn’t use the libary but we still have to pay for the library fees. About the duration of internship, I don’t understand why is longer than the normal semester. Just imagine like the student working with no pay and uni didn’t teach them anything, so, how is it? Ermm, is because they want us to train more or they just want the free staff work longer for them? If they really because of they want the free staff to work for them longer then what I can say is they really SMART!! About the communication, they really have to concern on it but when they ask for the fees, the communication will become VERY fast. If you delay the payment and they will ask you whether you paid or not even you have paid, do you feel funny? One thing I want to ask, they can know we havent paid through the system but I think they also can know we have paid through the system, right? Like this is it consider pro? Ermm, what you guys think?
5k for the job internship?
Omg, its too much and we are not learning anything like subject that provide by sct.
for my self i dun mind pay 5k as long i can finish my study and pass for the job internship without “FAILED”, but how bout the others ?
The worst part, we need to find the company by ourself and there is only 1 company that is DAMN far from our house that provided by SCT. SCT should have planned properly for all of the company that the students can work with. I hope for the next semester SCT will be better for the management system curriculum.
if they keep doing and implementing the same system for all of the students, i believe within a few year SCT will . . .. . . . .(guess)
